The Red Dock

Ramona Crisstea

The lake, sun and mountain. Fresh air again and my red dock. This is how I consider a well deserved and dream-like Vacation.

I was dreaming about so many things that seem impossible. But they were standing in front of us waiting us to give them some attention and admiration. Nature awaits. It waits for our admiration and love because it is everything for us. It has so much to offer and delights us every time with its beauty and silence. It doesn’t stop on impressing us every time.

One of the things that I love the most it is her, the nature. The day spent at the lake was so beautiful and every time I come here I feel so calm. Nothing matches this feeling. Many times I wish someone would stop all the city madness and everything was more calm and serene.

And just like that this adventure at the lake transforms in a beautiful memory which I will remember forever. Those escapes are so important because we recharge our body with energy and we forget about all the stress. We must start to tend more toward nature. We must share more our admiration.

  1. I like the shot just above the Thoreau quote. The stark juxtaposition of the black support with the ebony lace around the feminine form, all set against the chaotic green exuberance in the background. All the elements of your essay are composed there, and the predisposition of the fragile beauty of the human form declared by the direction of your gaze. Wonderful!
